Recycle for your future

A public-private initiative that stems from the continuity of the Zero Waste Pilot Project Cambia tu Barrio. The project implements various strategies for the recovery of recyclable materials, depending on the characteristics of the area to be impacted and the synergies made with the communities, we have implemented
  • Fixed recycling stations
  • Mobile station routes
  • Door-to-door collection in Patrimonio Histórico
  • National call for recycling and recycling workshops
  • Regular workshops in partnership with Plazas.

cleaner Panama

The first Thursday every month we meet outside the TVNWe will be at Tumba Muerto Avenue in a recycling day where we receive paper, cardboard, newspaper, PET1 and HDPE plastic, telephone directories, aluminium cans, used cooking oil and glass, with the aim of rescuing recyclable material and giving it a new life. Our schedule runs from 7 am to 5 pm. This campaign is possible thanks to TVN, who with their continued commitment we have been recycling En Ambiente for 9 years.

National Beach, Coast and River Cleanup

This initiative has been carried out for 26 years in Panama, and is led by the group integrated by the National Association for the Conservation of Nature, the Panama Verde Association, the Foundation for the Protection of the Sea, and the Panama Audubon Society, who year after year coordinate the support of thousands of volunteers to achieve success on this day, which is part of the global programme for cleaning Beaches and Coasts and Rivers, promoted since 1986 by The Ocean Conservancy of the United States. The oceans are part of our common home, and keeping them clean and free of plastic ensures wellbeing for all.
