Harpy Eagle Sighting
On this farm ANCON has a nest of the Harpy Eagle, Panama's national bird. This is monitored thanks to contributions from donors and the community of Pijibasal with whom ANCON has an agreement for the protection of the area and the sighting of this nest which can be visited through various local operators. If you would like to visit the nest you can contact ancon@ancon.org

The Perrenian farm was acquired by ANCON to create buffer zones for the Darien National Park. In fact, to enter the park's administrative headquarters, one must cross this ANCON farm of a little more than 209 hectares.
